Leviticus 26:11-12

11 ^aI will make my dwelling ^{▼▼Hebrew tabernacle} among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. 12 ^cAnd I ^dwill walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.

1 Kings 8:20-21

20 Now the Lord has fulfilled his promise that he made. For I have risen in the place of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, ^eas the Lord promised, and I have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel. 21 And there I have provided a place for the ark, ^fin which is the covenant of the Lord that he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.”

Ezekiel 45:1-6

The Holy District

1 “When ^uyou allot the land as an inheritance, ^vyou shall set apart for the Lord a portion of the land as a holy district, 25,000 cubits ^{▼▼A cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters} long and 20,000 ^{▼▼Septuagint; Hebrew ten} cubits broad. It shall be holy throughout its whole extent. 2 ^yOf this a square plot of 500 by 500 cubits shall be for the sanctuary, with fifty cubits for ^zan open space around it. 3 And ^aafrom this measured district you shall measure off a section 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 broad, ^abin which shall be the sanctuary, ^acthe Most Holy Place. 4 ^adIt shall be the holy portion of the land. It shall be for the priests, who minister in the sanctuary and approach the Lord to minister to him, and it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary. 5 ^aeAnother section, 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits broad, shall be for the Levites who minister at the temple, as their possession for cities to live in. ^{▼▼Septuagint; Hebrew as their possession, twenty chambers}

6 “Alongside the portion set apart as the holy district ^agyou shall assign for the property of the city an area 5,000 cubits broad and 25,000 cubits long. ^ahIt shall belong to the whole house of Israel.

Zechariah 2:5

5 And I will be to her ^aia wall of fire all around, declares the Lord, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”
